Community Plan FAQs

Is there a minimum purchase amount?

To qualify for the Community Plan, participants are required to spend $12,000 per year in gross sales. Eligible expenditures may include third-party licensing—such as saving up to 20% on Microsoft licenses—or purchases of other applications and hardware, provided these transactions are processed through Genuity. Our objective is to foster a community that grows stronger together and ensures fair treatment for all members. If a purchase does not contribute toward these values, the community plan may not be suitable.

What if I don't want to make a third-party purchase and just use the IT software suite?

No problem! Just choose from one of our other low-cost plans and pay only for the IT management modules you need.

Do I get all of the features?

Yep! Every single one! By purchasing any licensing or solution through us (and saving money as you do), our entire suite of IT tools, including our popular IT Help Desk, is yours for free.

How do I access the plan?

We may make it easy! Whether it is an existing tool or a new purchase, one of our licensing specialists will help you quickly and accurately, and once you purchase & save, you're on the community plan.

If the product is free, how do you make money?

When purchases are made, we take a small percentage on these transactions, which allows us to operate our business while offering you our product for free.

We will never push you to select one vendor over another because it benefits us; we are incentivized to find you the best vendors and pricing possible ensuring your satisfaction and that of the wider community we serve.

Think of us as the Costco of IT.

Are there any limitations? What's the actual number of users that I can have?

There are no limits, and plans include unlimited users and usage.

Do I have to start a trial, or is there another way for me to experience the platform?

You can always request a free demo and have our Genuity expert show you our platform with everyday IT tools, technology management, and our marketplace.

What's the difference between Genuity and a VAR like CDW?

Although we monetize in a similar way that VARs do, ultimately, they are people-driven, while Genuity is software-driven. They're slow, expensive, and suck at software.

VARs are built on a high-priced sales org that you have to pay for. They are stuck in their cost structure, and are these reps looking out of your best interest or the commissions from a sale?

Can you really get me better pricing?

Yes! Because of the size of the community, members can harness the combined purchasing power of thousands of companies, which means lower prices. We are confident we can beat or match any price provided in the open market (and we've put that to the test thousands of times over!)

When Genuity does its job well, we help drive down costs overall for both our members and the providers you buy from.

Can I access the plan later if I decide to buy through Genuity?

Absolutely! Choose your own starting point, whether that is our thirty-day free trial or one of our low-cost modular plans. You can migrate to the community plan at any time.
